Police think fugitive is living on a canal boat

Recognise this man? Police think he may be staying on a canal boat with an unsuspecting family or with friends.

Sussex police are urgently trying to find Christopher Bunn, 36, and they believe he is living ‘off the grid’ with narrowboat owners.

Bunn who sold his boat in the Braunston area in 2014, was arrested by police towards the end of the year. He was released on bail and has since disappeared. He is wanted for possession of indecent images of children and sexual assault against a child under 13 years of age.

PC Russell Pritchard, from Brighton’s Safeguarding and Investigations Unit said “We’ve recently received information that Chris Bunn is living with friends in the canal boat community. He poses a danger to male children and my concern is that he’s living with a family who are unaware of why police are looking for him. We need to find him fast.”
