Gradually, against her better judgment, she finds herself drawn into a confrontation with the convicted killer and a campaign to free him that also involves the most unlikely of protagonists.
The campaign also thrusts Marnie into a world of infidelity, sexual betrayal, and mortal danger. Strangest of all, there comes a moment when the victim re-enters her life in the most unexpected ways, while suspects surround Marnie.
Not surprisingly, one of them wants Marnie dead and will stop at nothing to silence her.
From the stunning Grand Union Canal to picturesque Little Venice and London’s trendy Docklands, the story unfolds in a series of twists and turns in which no one can be presumed innocent and the clues are provided by the victims themselves.
But the biggest surprise was the last one.
