“Greasy Ocker” tells the tale of two young canal boatmen who are destined to carry on a long-standing feud between their families.
One of the boatmen strives to earn an honest living during a time when canal trade is declining. The other leaves his job to embark on a life of crime alongside a brutal London gangster. Eventually, their paths cross again, leading to a dramatic robbery that culminates in a violent resolution to their family’s vendetta.
The story takes place on London and Black Country’s canals and delves into the gritty underworlds of London and Birmingham.
