Had the most wonderful and peaceful picnic cruise this afternoon aboard the Patricia.

We were lucky to have spectacular weather and were able to picnic on the blankets on the bow deck. Caroline’s food was fantastic and plentiful. Will definitely be going again.

Nestled alongside the picturesque canal, with tables overlooking the serene waters, creates a tranquil escape from the bustling world. The selection of hot beverages and the English traditional cakes is a delightful surprise for any dessert lover.

The first time we dropped by with our narrowboat, it was to taste Andy’s scones. Unfortunately, they were sold out ☹ but it gave us the chance to taste the delicious toasted tea cake and sultana cake.

Seeing we really wanted to taste his scones, he put a few scones with strawberry jam and clothed cream aside two days later and on our way back we collected them, what a lovely gesture!! They were an absolute delight 🙂

Thank you so much Andy for everything, we definitevely recommend this place!!!
