Nice friendly pub offering food.

Under some refurbishment at the moment but doesn’t affect the atmosphere.

Plenty of drinks on offer with alternative non alcoholic drinks available

I hate to give a bad review, and in fact, this is the only one I’ve done, but for me the only thing to recommend this pub was that the door was open. Had a pint of inches cider, which was tired and cloudy. Never seen cider be off in a pub before – ever! Sadly it has the feel of a pub waiting for closure or change of landlord, which is a great shame. Never like to see a pub go down.

Been in for the reopening, Sammy gave the warmest welcome very chatty and friendly with everyone. Pub was so busy and it’s so lovely to see the pub back to how it used to be. Hopefully sammy will continue to restore it to its former glory!

Great food & service, very friendly atmosphere, can’t beat a lovely traditional pub like this, rounded our day off at Little Morton Hall nicely. Highly recommended.

We were there for Christmas Day at 12. Lovely atmosphere and staff. Unfortunately we didn’t get our main meal until 2pm. The turkey was beautifully cooked and there was plenty. I feel there should have been more veg. We had 2 carrots a lot of cauliflower cheese which was great a little cabbage and a few sprouts which were like bullets. You couldn’t put your fork in them. The soup and Christmas pud was lovely but I was disappointed with the main meal and the time we had to wait between each course.
