Lovely pub near to the little bridge. Plenty of space inside and out (right on the canal). Decent sized car park. Just had a drink but the food smelt good.

On a boating holiday along the Llangollen Canal, reserved a table for 8pm then arrived two hours earlier than expected! Pre-meal drink on board, freshen up and then arrived an hour earlier than booked – not a problem!

The young staff were courteous and attentive and did everything they could to make our visit (four adults and a dog) as pleasant as possible – they succeeded.

Starters, main courses and desserts all arrived in good time, were delicious and went down a treat! (The boat may be lower than before once we get back on board!)

In short, a dog friendly and atmospheric pub serving excellent food and a good selection of beers, ciders and spirits – thoroughly recommended (and intend to visit again in the future, although next time arriving by car!)

Photo shows the Artic Slice Special – we were too busy enjoying our food to photograph it! 🤣

Great canal side pub. Ideal for boaters, walkers and just about everyone.

Pub decor is bright and airy plus clean and tidy. The room overlooking the canal is an ideal dinning area. The bar area is central to both rooms and has a range of craft beers as well.

For smokers there is a open area with chairs, tables and umbrellas. And this could be a wonderful place to sit for all on a warm and sunny day.

Staff were welcoming and friendly and dealt with my needs efficiently.

Food is reasonably priced. It is served piping hot and laid out well on the platter. Plus the veg was hot crispy and not soggy and soft like some places. Good portions which make you feel satisfied.

Overall a pleasant visit to the Dusty Miller was enjoyed by me and well worth the money.
