Not eaten here for a few years , used to be OK.

Nice position by the canal with seating along side . Easy to find on main road .

Worth stopping and finding out what they do now

It’s just been taken over by a lovely couple. The welcome for us and our dog was lovely. We arrived early afternoon but we’re still able to have lunch. A cheese ploughman’s was freshly prepared and was good. There is a dog station for water and treats and even the water bowls are supplied.

The car park also accommodates motorhomes for an overnight stay – just go in for drinks or eats.

Stayed here over night with our motorhome. Lovely quiet place to stopover next to the canal. Traditional style pub with friendly staff and locals. Doggy friendly also, so put this stopover on your trip.

The Boat Inn Pub and Dining in Rugby is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The setting by the canal is beautiful—perfect for a relaxing meal or a casual drink with friends.

The food was outstanding—fresh, well-presented, and full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in every dish. Great selection of drinks too,

What really stood out was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the experience even better. You can tell they care about making your visit special.

Whether you’re local or just passing through, The Boat Inn is well worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back

Popped in for lunch, friendly welcome, offered a table in restaurant or bar. Dogs welcome in bar. Also, plenty of outside seating weather permitting. The menu was much better than normal pub grub. Our food arrived promptly and was wonderfully tasty, we had the pan-fried salmon, just wonderful. I would highly recommend
