Great family day out. Nice and relaxed. The horse on the day was called “drummer” and was super friendly. He enjoyed stopping to munch on the fresh leaves along the tow path as he effortlessly pulled us along the canal.

We had the best experience on the horse drawn boat trip. Drummer the Clydesdale cob was the star of the trip and the team were very friendly. An enjoyable and relaxing way to spend a couple of hours. We will definitely book again.

I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. We did the Sunday lunchtime trip in August 2024 and it was a blissful, chilled time watching the canal gently go by. The whole team were lovely and friendly from start to finish and my family had a great time. If you love horses and boats (who doesn’t?) then you want to book this unique experience!
