I think this is my second favourite easy to reach hike from central London. Just a 40 min train from Euston. Pleasant countryside and a bit of elevation. We did it on a lovely sunny day which may have influenced this glowing review but i think the topography is enticing. First half more interesting but the woodlands and the golf course of the second half are equally easy in the eye. Ended up in the Trooper for a couple of pints and a feed. A top day trip. Seven Sisters is my number 1 for what it’s worth!

Great view point upon the hill from where can see panoramic views for miles. The last bit is a steep climb but worth it. The top point is about 1.2km from the car park. The hills are covered in wild flowers in the spring and summer.
