We spent a couple of night’s here as visitors in our 60ft narrowboat. Staff were very pleasant and helpfull. The nearby Beefeater restaurant was visited, a well priced set menu was available, with a good choice of food options. The only downside, which cost a star on this review, was the dangerously unstable floating pontoons offered for mooring, these I would view, from my experience as a H and S rep for a large business, as a heath and safety issue, that needs urgent attention. No warning was given that they were to be treated with utmost care!

Delightful afternoon cruise with very pleasant, efficient and informative staff who ‘stepped up in the face of adversity ‘ In the form of a fallen tree upstream which meant they could not take the entire of the original route! They were well informed in advance calm and efficient. Well done

Great place for the family for a walk and bite to eat, can’t complain about the 8 for £8 menu as works out quite cheap for all of us!!!
