Much of the Swansea Canal Railways such as the Brecon Forest Tramroad were replaces by heavily graded railways using articulated double locomotives. The dashed lines indicate the fossilised remains of the Grawen Tramroad Depot on the mountainside.

Framed & glazed A4 signed limited edition print of watercolour paint reconstruction of Fairlie locomotive on the mountain pass of the Neath & Brecon Railway at Pont Gyhirych in the 1860s. Original artwork copyright Stephen Hughes.
