Cnewr Tramroad Depot & intended route of the Swansea Canal over the Brecon Beacons framed

Tramroads across the Brecon Beacons built in the 1820s on what was originally intended as a canal extension.

Framed & glazed A4 signed limited edition print of watercolour & gouache (watercolour) painting of the Cnewr model farm and tramroad depot. In the background is the peak of Fan Gyhirych with to its right the mountain pass of Bwlch Bryn-rhudd across which were proposed extensions to the Swansea Canal. The near horizontal lines to its left are the formations of the Brecon Forest Tramroad built in the 1820s between the canal and the Usk Valley at Sennybridge. Original artwork by Stephen Hughes.
