Plenty to do and plenty to see. Worth a stop over for lunch, or a few days for looking around.
We did the barge down the canal with sandwiches. Excellent day out, would highly recommend. Great for all age groups.

The wharf is very nice and the shop and cafe are nice and reasonably. Many years ago I went on the horse drawn barge and it was very good. This time I went the other way to go across the aquaduct. This is a one way barge with a coach return, apart fron going over the aquaduct the 2 hour trip is quite boring and the seating is not very comfortable and in my opinion the horse drawn barge is much better.

It is a fantastic place to visit, so much to canal boat ride on a horse drawn boat, steam train trip to Corwen. A lovely selection of tea rooms to choose from and just down the road the worlds tallest aqueduct. Would highly recommend it

Would highly recommend this short trip no matter what age group you belong to or if you’re going solo, with a group or with the family.
My 4 year old son really enjoyed it as did his mum and dad, the ride along the canal is just beautiful and so relaxing and to see these magnificent horses in action is just wonderful. Also I thought the price was very reasonable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There is also a small cafe, ice cream hut and toilets so you can relax before and after the ride.

A very beautiful place. Especially to have. Cup of tea alone the banks of the stream.
