GREAT – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Brilliant way to see another side of Birmingham. Guide Kodie was informative, entertaining and just lovely. As we’re the other two crew on board. Super interesting and very reasonably priced. So pleased we found this thing to do and did it.

Really enjoyed the cruise. The guide was lovely, accommodating and informative. It was nice to learn about the history of canals. We were given a warm welcome by the driver, do you call him a driver? But overall lovely. We didn’t even realise when the hour was up.

Can’t recommend highly enough. Sam’s charisma as tour guide brought the Birmingham canal tour to life. We laughed, we learnt and we enjoyed every minute. A really great value morning! Thanks so much.

Had a distant relative visit and he wanted to go on a barge, so we googled for boat tours, came up checking the lovely reviews for Brindley Cruises. It was a lovely tour Scott was trying so hard to include everyone in the talk and explain the history of the Birmingham canal navigation however they didn’t seem too interested so he came to the front of the boat and spoke directly to us, said he wouldn’t give the whole speel but to ask any questions and he would answer. He was very respectful to my elderly relative and made the afternoon a pleasure. Thanks guys will recommend to others.

Overall a good experience at a cheap price well worth a look.

Great little experience! We booked on for 2pm and was told to arrive 30 mins early for boarding, everything was on schedule. The owners of the boat were great, really informative and friendly and we even got a couple of free drinks! Lots of information about the history of Birmingham canals and engineering.

A different, pleasant experience. Great value for money. We managed to catch some good weather, which enhanced the cruise.

Snacks and cold drinks available, and the cheapest beer in Birmingham centre! I think tea and coffees would be brilliant, if possible. Definitely recommended if your in Birmingham.
