Canal boatyards, marinas & moorings - Southern  England & South Wales

We list marinas, boatyards and moorings on the canals and waterways of Southern England and South Wales. Some canal boatyards concentrate on canal boat servicing and maintenance but many also provide moorings. Both marinas and boat yards frequently offer the same maintenance and repair services and may sell second hand and new canal boats. This list is not complete, we are continually adding to it. Wherever possible we have given at least an email address and indicated the range of facilities available, there's a key to the icons we use below.

Moorings can cost from about 30p per foot of boat length per week, up to about £1 per foot per week. That equates to from £700 to over £2000 per year for a forty five foot boat, or £1000 to £3500 per year for a full length (70 foot) boat. Short term moorings may cost more. More expensive moorings may be expected to have more facilities, such as showers, washrooms, Internet access, or may be in a more popular area.
